Paintless Dent Repair(PDR) is a highly skilled art form for removing dents and dings without affecting a vehicle's factory paint. We use specialized tools to get behind the damaged panel and meticulously massage the metal back to its original shape. Unlike a traditional body shop, this process involves no sanding, no body filler, and no repainting, which allows you to keep your vehicle’s valuable factory finish.

Our PDR process has made us the world's leading paintless dent repair company. In addition to PDR,

FIX-A-DENT NOW is the innovator of various SMART (small to medium area repair techniques) repairs.

Our trained technicians are experts in PDR. We use the latest technologies to repair door dings and dents and hail damage without affecting your original paint job.

Absolutely not. When performed correctly by an experienced technician, PDR is a permanent solution. We are not just pushing a dent out; we are using precise techniques to reform the metal to its original factory structure. Once the metal’s memory is restored, the dent is gone for good. with that said wenever prommise a 100% improvement. no matter how small.

Here’s how PDR works.  First, technicians assess the damage of the vehicle. Where is the dent? How big is the dent? How do we get to the dent? After assessing the damage and determining if it can be effectively removed through PDR (as 80-90% of all dents are), we begin working on the repair.  Then, technicians gain access to the dent. In most cases, PDR requires a technician to access the back side of the dent, which means carefully removing body panels, taillights, or in some cases, interior panels. To perform PDR, you need a pathway to the dent.  Once the technician has access to the dent, it’s time to get a better look.

No, in fact, the primary benefit of PDR is that it preserves your original factory paint. Modern automotive paint is very flexible. As long as the paint was not broken or cracked when the damage occurred, our process will not harm it. This is why PDR is the preferred method for insurance companies and car enthusiasts alike.

Another major advantage of PDR is the speed. Most common repairs, like door dings and minor dents, are typically completed in just one to three hours. We perform the repair right at your home or office, so there’s no need to drop off your car or wait for days like you would with a body shop.

PDR is significantly more affordable than traditional body shop repairs—often just a fraction of the cost. The exact price depends on the size, location (e.g., on a body line, near an edge), and depth of the dent. The best way to get an accurate price is to send us a few photos of the damage via text or through our website. We are happy to provide a free, no-obligation estimate.

No, we come to you! Fix-A-Dent Now is a completely mobile service. We save you time and hassle by performing expert repairs right at your home, office, or other convenient location throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Our service vehicles are fully equipped with everything we need.

PDR is incredibly effective, but it does have its limits. Generally, if the paint is severely cracked, chipped, or missing, PDR is not the right solution. Dents with extremely sharp creases where the metal has been stretched too far, or damage on some double-walled panel edges, can also be challenging. We will always provide an honest assessment and let you know upfront if PDR is the best option for your vehicle.

Absolutely. This is one of our specialties! Dealerships often charge excessive fees for minor dings and dents upon lease return. We can perform a pre-inspection and repair any damage at a much lower cost, helping you avoid those costly penalties and ensuring a smooth, hassle-free return.
